TOURING THE ANGEL FANBASE

YOUR STORIES
November 18th, 2005 - San Jose, CA. USA. (HP Pavillion)

The day was mostly rushing around, sewing my new DM patch on my jacket getting my Bong tag laminated and that sort of thing. Oh also did
I mention our tickets STILL had not arrived? It turned out the ticket broker sent them too late so we ended up keeping the 7th row tickets I had
promised my brother while my boyfriend went down to spend two hours in line to gets him seats which we paid for because of the stupidity of
the situation.

Because of the delay we totally missed the Britannia Arms meet up. We stopped by around 7:40 but didn't see anyone. Disappointed we
headed to the show. Walking by the bar next door saw a group of friends and grabbed a quick drink which put us in MUCH better spirits after
everything that had gone on.

So as a group we made our way to the arena, split up after designating a meeting place, and when to find our seats. Turns out our seats were
on the outside edge when we had expected them to be inside but hey we were close and I had that much better of a view of Paul's sign. Went
back out to get "schwag" in my second line trying to get that jacket we hear the crowd start screaming. We rush inside and I walk to my seat
pumping my fists in time to APTIUT.

We dance, we scream, I get a few decent pics before getting hassled which is so hypocritical considering the person in front of me was
recording on their phone. My highlight was IFY. I don't know why but for some reason i just went crazy when it came on. And OMG when did
Martin start MOVING so much? And he played bass! The interaction was amazing. They really seemed to be having fun TOGETHER. I had
my doubts about Goodnight Lovers but live it really did work for me, especially seeing them interact. Dave seemed to be dancing for a couple
of women on the right towards the end, perhaps his wife was one?

Ok I've rambled enough. it was awesome and my only regret is that I didn't get to meet anyone. Didn't see a single other Bong tag. The Blank was packed afterward and it's NOT that large so we decided to avoid claustrophobia and head elsewhere. =)

I for one thought your signs were hilarious. I was on the floor pretty much right in front of you guys. Which sign were you holding up? It was so
cute when Dave pointed them out and laughed. They really seemed to get a kick out of them. I for one miss the days when more people made
signs. I think it adds to the enthusiasm of the show.
